The sommelier at The Country Club is Jay Martino. He trained at UNLV, where he first started learning about wine, spirits and beer. Martino enrolled in every course that was offered to educate himself on the beverage and wine industry. His next stop was the Hard Rock Hotel, where he worked for four years under chef Kerry Simon at Simon Kitchen and Bar. From there, he opened David Burke at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino where he also worked for four years with renowned chef David Burke.
