Though there’s no weekend brunch offered at Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort — and note that breakfast service at the lobby restaurant Aqueous ends at 11 a.m. — late-risers can hop on a free shuttle and head to Chateau Lafayette in the center of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, where Sunday brunch is served at Lautrec.
An impressive buffet-style spread is set up in the elegant dining room, with a changing menu of options that can include brunch favorites such as prime rib and eggs Benedict. Keep in mind, however, that brunch is only served at Lautrec and not actually prepared by chef de cuisine Kristin Butterworth and her kitchen staff: If you want to sample her award-winning cuisine, you’ll have to come back for dinner — reservations recommended.
Our Sunday Brunch at Lautrec has become one of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort’s signature offerings. The brunch is available each Sunday through the summer and on holiday weekend. The brunch features over 90 items with cold food, hot food, Chef’s choice and dessert stations. Menu selection changes weekly. Transportation is available by shuttle or private butler transport. The attire is resort casual.
