Georges Perrier’s Le Bec-Fin, which opened in 1970, remains a shining star for
French cuisine, although the restaurant will be taking a more casual turn in 2009 (and
will be re-rated accordingly in the future). The dining room at the restaurant now is
a bastion of civility with fresh flowers, glass chandeliers, amber lighting and finely
dressed tabletops. Perrier’s talented team brings out the brilliance in classic dishes,
while offering several new creations destined to be classics. Perrier’s signature crab
cake with haricot verts is divine and joins an exciting menu that leans on seasonal
availability.
