What is the interior design of The Health Club at One Aldwych?

The interior design of The Health Club at One Aldwych is modern and minimalist. The waiting area has a cornflower-blue sofa with lime and maroon pillows, two thin silver chairs with round yellow seats and curved glass tables. The London spa also features contemporary art, a common thread throughout One Aldwych hotel. A white wall holds a large work that shows people laying out on a beach in the top, while dark gold, white and blue stripes cover the bottom half of it.

The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa adds color to its three treatment rooms. The spaces have gray silk-paneled walls with mood lighting — our room had small purple spotlights on the wall — and the sink area holds white orchids in silver square vases.

The locker room has a slate-granite-tiled shower and a bare dual-sink area, save for a purple orchid in a silver square vase. The best design is the beautiful 59-foot-long, chlorine-free pool with strong mood lighting and a big screen that shows everything from clouds to underwater scenes. The pool glows in shades like cobalt blue. You’ll also find modern art here as well: Blue Arrows by Pol Bury is a bold blue piece with distorted white arrows pointing up.
