Built by Southwestern artist Lon Megargee in the 1930s, the inn’s adobe design and
rustic furnishings are a fitting setting for some of the best American comfort food in the Phoenix area. The chef grows many herbs, heirloom fruits and vegetables and
grains in the onsite garden to use in fresh seasonal specials such as pork tenderloin
with prickly pear braised cabbage, green beans and mashed potatoes and roasted lamb
with goat cheese herb grits.
