Circa 55 Restaurant and the adjacent Trader Vic’s Lounge share a bar so you’ll find the same wines offered by the glass at each, including two sparking, five whites and seven reds.
There’s a champagne from Reims that costs $21 a glass and a Prosecco for $13 a glass. For the whites, you’ll find a sauvignon blanc from California, an Albariño from Spain, a pinot grigio from Italy, a riesling from Washington’s Columbia Valley and a chardonnay from California’s Central Coast. The whites range from $11 to $16 a glass — a very reasonable price for Beverly Hills.
Among the reds, there’s two pinot noir selections from California, a Shiraz from Austrailia, a Malbec from Argentina, a zinfandel from Sonoma, a merlot from Napa Valley and a cabernet sauvignon from California. At $11 to $22 a glass, the reds are very affordable, too, so feel free to experiment. If you just can’t choose, ask your server and he or she can recommend a wine pairing with your meal.
