Set in a grove of trees in a residential area about a ten-minute walk from the Plaza, this hotel is owned and operated by Native Americans. It's the only venture of its kind in the United States. It exists to celebrate New Mexico's native cultures, with original pottery and paintings, an authentic Plains Indian-style tepee, ceremonial dances, and storytelling by the resident historian in front of a kiva fireplace. The 3-acre property features Native American sculptures and totems, which nicely complement the Pueblo Revival architecture of the hotel.
