The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip

A sleek Macau spa sancturary
VERIFIED LUXURY

There’s so much room to spread out in the 20,000-square-foot Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip, you might feel as if you have this sprawling facility to yourself.

Begin with a soak in the ion-balanced vitality pool, then move on to the sauna and steam before heading to one of the sleek, contemporary treatment rooms for a Swedish massage.

Located on the fourth floor of Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip, the spa shields you from the flashy city just outside. With 14 spacious treatment rooms (nine single rooms, four doubles and a VIP suite) and a wide range of luxurious offerings, the serene spot upholds all our expectations of a spa that carries the Four Seasons name.

The interior design of the facility mirrors the elegant hotel with European-style furnishings and Chinese accents, including imagery of the lotus flower, a symbol of Macau.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Repeat visitors will appreciate the ever-changing Seasonal Highlights menu that combats the conditions or complements the changing weather. For example, the autumn treatment is Traditional Thai Therapy for the Soul, which boosts circulation and immune systems.
  • One of the spa’s specialty treatments is the Orange Road with Natura Bissé products. First, a vitamin C essence body scrub gently exfoliates. Then comes a body mask that hydrates and firms the skin. Finally, a lomi-juma massage sends you off into Zen.
  • While small, the dedicated selection of men’s treatments is a welcome addition to the spa menu. The 60-minute Gentleman’s Facial is a good choice, especially after a late night or long day at the poker tables.
  • Junior spa-goers can enjoy a pint-sized menu of specialty treatments while mom and dad relax. The Fruity Facial for Kids uses a sweet-smelling cleansing foam and banana and fig mask.
  • The attentive spa attendants are always prepared to make your experience extra indulgent. Ask for a cup of herbal tea to get the relaxation started.

Things to Know

  • At traditionally busy times of the year, including Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival, schedule your treatment ahead of time.
  • The spa is open every day from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., which is great for a post-arrival massage, even if you get in late.
  • If you just can’t tear yourself away from your sumptuous suite, opt to enjoy a massage in your room. Just be aware of the 20 percent surcharge for the extra service.

The Treatments

  • The Four Seasons Signature Massage combines Asian and European techniques. Enjoy essential oils slathered on bya skillful therapist.
  • During the Iconic Jade Stone Massage, pieces of heated jade are used for a total body rubdown. Jade is supposed to balance emotions and bolster the immune system.
  • The Organic Rose Facial is the antidote to Macau’s heavy traffic and associated pollution. Rose quartz crystals awaken the lymphatic system, while an acupressure massage firms and tones tired facial muscles.

The Facilities

  • Don’t feel like the full spa experience? A Finnish sauna, steam room, vitality pool and scented experience showers are available for a quick refresh.
  • Ayoga and Pilates studio with spring flooring offers fitness classes and private sessions to help you stay centered during your Macau stay.
  • The 24-hour gym has all the modern equipment you need to grab a quick, comprehensive workout.
