This coastal community stretches along Pacific Coast Highway, a picturesque stretch of road that skirts along the water’s edge, along the base of steep hills. Most of Malibu is located right on this highway, in houses that dangle off the cliffs or hover on the hillsides above. The sweeping vistas provide many camera-worthy views, and it comes as no surprise that this is where many movie stars have chosen this spot to call home.

Several small shopping centers are found along the highway, mostly catering to locals for the bare necessities, however there are a few choice destinations for visitors. Fresh seafood can be enjoyed seaside, from the funky fish shack, The Reel Inn, to the classy Chart House. Naturally, beaches are a major destination, and every local seems to have his or her own secret spot, but Zuma and Will Rogers are always popular.
