The Glorietta Bay Inn sits on beautiful Coronado Island, just a mile from San Diego’s numerous attractions, including the famed San Diego Zoo. Built in 1908 by John Spreckels, one of San Diego’s earliest developers, the mansion was converted to a hotel in the mid-1970s. You can choose between staying in the mansion itself, which offers more-luxurious rooms that bespeak the mansion’s history, or in the surrounding inn buildings, which are a more modern alternative, perfect for families or business travelers. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily, but otherwise, you’ll need to leave the hotel grounds for dining. Not to worry—many options are within a short walk, and the hotel will make reservations for you upon request.
The Mansion At Glorietta Bay Amenities:
