This casual family restaurant is nestled in the Sunriver Resort (see), one of Oregon’s most popular resorts. Its lovely, rustic dining room features large windows that offer beautiful views of the golf course and Mt. Bachelor. The scenery is rivaled only by the consistently delicious food, which the restaurant calls “Oregon first indigenous cuisine with a western flair.” Starters may include seared crab cakes with roasted red peppers, chipotle aioli, and Asian slaw, while featured entrees are dishes like BBQ ribs with house BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes; center cut filet mignon with truffle Madeira demi glace and Asiago polenta; or the inventive vegetarian walnut and mushroom loaf with creamy mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes. Kids are made to feel at home with their very own menu as well as a “kids only” station at Sunday brunch.
