The interior design at Scarpetta Miami Beach located in the Sorrento tower of Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel evokes a luxury cruise liner. A beachy, nautical motif plays throughout the space, which has been fashioned with a blue, white and gray color palette. Look closely and you’ll notice maritime detailing with rope around the interior columns, mirrors that resemble portholes and plenty of polished brass. A black and white mosaic wall of interlocking circles behind the bar is a strong focal point when you cross the threshold of the restaurant, and perfectly complements the white marble bar and the wood flooring. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant's main dining room features several curved blue patterned banquettes, while white blinds along the walls create an intimate ambiance. If you want something a little brighter, though, reserve a seat on the enclosed terrace that’s airy with its gray-and-white Ikat-print cushioned banquette and pale blue inlay on the dark wood tables. The L-shaped terrace also directly overlooks the Fontainebleau’s grounds, so you’ll even be able to snag glimpses of the ocean from here. Dining at Scarpetta is just like experiencing a luxury cruise ship, minus the motion of the ocean.
