Alain Ducasse’s artful restaurant atop THEHotel at Mandalay Bay offers one of the most stunning views of the Strip. Walking into the restaurant is truly like entering into a modern art museum with its sleek, white décor and enormous chandelier, made of 15,000 hand-blown Murano glass balls. With the glitter of the lights of the Mandalay Bay sign outside the windows and surrounded by the glass bubbles, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a flute of champagne. The chic design of the restaurant is reflected on the plate as well. American cuisine is interpreted using contemporary haute French technique, producing dishes such as lobster salad served with a savory coconut gazpacho, and surf and turf made with halibut and foie gras rather than the standard lobster and steak.
