A local favorite for a business lunch or a pre-game bite, Bistro Laurentien La Coupole offers French brasserie-style fare with seasonal inspiration and an ever-changing menu du jour in an urban-chic environment with modern lines and classic colors. A group of experts collaborated on the menu — chefs Anne Desjardins and Cédric Désilets tag-teamed for the food portion, while director/sommelier Bruno Méril and mixologist Chris Natale handled the wine and drinks.

You’ll find the local business crowd enjoying the table d’hôte lunch, a two-course meal featuring a starter and main course (for the latter, choose between signature dishes or daily plates, which always include fish, pasta and meat options). In the early evening, the dining room fills with hockey fans grabbing a three-course table d’hôte meal (appetizer, entree and dessert) before leaving to cheer on their beloved Canadiens. Later, hotel guests and locals alike come to enjoy the à la carte menu with Desjardins' signature dishes such as prime beef rib with wild mushrooms and mashed potatoes; risotto with Allegretto (a Quebec sheep's-milk cheese), butternut squash, mushrooms and leeks; and veal rib with oyster mushrooms, quinoa, chanterelles and thyme, all of which pair nicely with the Montreal restaurant’s extensive wine collection. 

Visit on a Saturday to catch a resident DJ spinning tunes that move from lounge music to danceable pop as the evening progresses, or stop in on a sunny afternoon to nosh on the delicious salmon or beef tartare and sip the signature sangria on the enclosed terrace, hidden from the noisy street.
