No matter the season, there is plenty to do in and around the city.
During the warmer months, don't miss a visit to Île Sainte-Hélène (best accessed via the métro). It is home to La Ronde, a Six Flags amusement park, as well as the casino, race track, Biosphère and even a beach! You'll also want to hike up Mount Royal, which is located in the center of the city and visit some of the city's famous parks, including Park Lafontaine, Park Jeanne-Mance and the historic Lachine Canal.
No matter the season, a stroll through the cobblestoned streets of Old Montreal is a must-do. Lined with quaint galleries, shops and restaurants, the area is rich in history and is still ultra-vibrant today.
The Old Port is also a hub of activity year-round as it is home to the Montreal Science Center and Bota Bota, a Nordic spa built inside an old tugboat.
