Blair Hill Inn operates just one restaurant, which is also called Blair Hill. Highly regarded both locally and nationally, The Blair Hill Restaurant serves five-course, prix fixe meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from mid-June through mid-October. The menu pairs locally grown produce — ranging from delicate fiddlehead ferns in the spring to squash and apples in the fall — with fresh Maine seafood and farm-raised meats. Nearly all the meat, poultry and seafood are cooked in a rustic style, over a traditional wood-fired Aztec grill. The dining room overlooks Moosehead Lake, offering you the chance to enjoy a romantic meal while watching the sun set over the pine-covered islands dotting the lake and the grand mountains in the distance.
Guests of the inn receive a gourmet breakfast as part of the room rate. Breakfast includes a fruit course, which might be chilled cantaloupe and peach soup garnished with lemon zest or broiled grapefruit, followed by a hearty breakfast entrée. Selections might include a frittata made with fresh-picked vegetables or spicy Maine crab cakes Benedict. Breakfast is served every day, but just for guests of the inn.
