Does The Restaurant at Meadowood offer any special or rare bottles of wine?

Beautifully located within the 250-acre estate of Meadowood Napa Valley, The Restaurant at Meadowood prides itself on offering a large variety of special and rare bottle of wine from a cellar stocked with more than 1,200 different labels.

Wines at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant are curated by wine director Michael Ireland, who joined award-winning executive chef Christopher Kostow and his staff in the fall of 2011. Though the wine list changes regularly, notable labels that were available on one of our recent visits included two acclaimed 1991 vintage cabernet sauvignons: one from Araujo Estate’s Eisele Vineyard ($895) and another from Harlen Estate ($2,000). Feel free to ask Ireland or your server for recommendations.

The Restaurant at Meadowood is our culinary showplace, featuring California Wine Country cuisine and one of the most comprehensive lists of Napa Valley wines in the world. Meadowood’s founding partner and owner of Harlan Estate, H. William Harlan, has made an exclusive offering for The Restaurant of his 2007 and 2008 vintages of Harlan Estate in half bottles. In addition, he continues to support The Restaurant with a deep vertical selection of wines from Harlan Estate and BOND Estates. His partner in Meadowood, Stan Kroenke, owner of Screaming Eagle, offers the winery’s sauvignon blanc, also exclusively to The Restaurant.
