Nepheles was named after the Greek goddess of epicurean delights but this restaurant near Heavenly Valley Ski Resort is purely Californian. Chef Mark Vassau finds the freshest ingredients and prepares specials nightly. Entrées may include wild boar chops stuffed with prunes and cabbage with an orange apricot brandy sauce, or pan seared ahi tuna with a corn pepper relish and a pineapple vinaigrette.
