The Spa at Windsor Court’s style sticks with the Old World feel you’ll find throughout the rest of Windsor Court Hotel. But the touches you see in the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa are new; it was part of a major restoration in spring of 2012. The $22 million restoration elegantly combined French Vogue with the existing, traditional English décor of the hotel. Dallas-based firm Flick-Mars (which did the interiors of spots like Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North) employed motifs that were inspired by the history, flora and hues of the Big Easy. Check out luxe details like Swarovski crystals dotting the ceiling and mother-of-pearl tiles. The 4,500-square-foot spa offers eight treatment rooms (plus one suite designed specially for couples) as well as a sauna, steam room and relaxation room. Add in extra time to check out the heated pool, Jacuzzi and gym area located next door to the New Orleans spa.
