Andaz Wall Street is home to Wall & Water, a farm-to-table restaurant located inside the hotel on the corner of Wall and Water streets (hence its name) in Manhattan. Designed by Rockwell Group — as is the rest of the hotel — the scene-making space is trendy and chic. Communal tables are available, but the private tables lining the sides of the room are preferred, perfect for intimate conversations or business dinners with parties of four. The décor will have your eyes darting all over the room — the centerpiece is the open kitchen located at the back of the room, where every dish is prepared. There's a raw bar too, and a lounge to the right at the top of the staircase where colorful cocktails can be enjoyed.
The menu is globally inspired — expect dishes like pan-roasted chicken with mustard sauce, spiced honey cabbage and roasted carrots or a Black Angus burger topped with sharp cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. You can choose from a selection of appetizers and main courses during your meal, all freshened up with seasonal ingredients. If you're looking to dine with a larger group, call ahead and ask about the chef's table at the restaurant, located just behind the open kitchen at the back of the room. It's set up to accommodate 12, and given the design, you'll feel like you have your own personal chef during your meal. If you prefer something lighter at the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel, venture downstairs to Bar Seven Five where wine, beer and cocktails are served.
