The Quin opened its doors on November 11, 2013, offering a boutique hotel haven for luxury travelers and art lovers alike. The New York City hotel takes creative inspiration from the building’s past as The Buckingham Hotel. Located near Carnegie Hall, The Buckingham hosted artists and musicians such as pianist and first prime minister of Poland Jan Paderewski (a hotel resident), artist Georgia O’Keeffe and Academy Award-winning composer Dimitri Tiomkin, among others. The Quin celebrates its building’s past by focusing on the arts, with a permanent gallery of Irish painter Patrick Graham’s works, and with Paderewski and O’Keefe suites among the 208 guest rooms. And the hotel’s prime location in Midtown Manhattan puts guests near top-notch galleries, shopping and attractions (Central Park, Lincoln Center and more), and in close proximity to many of the city’s subway lines.
