Thanks to its proximity to Central Park, jogging routes are as easy to come by as taxi cabs at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. The park is encircled by a 6.1-mile looped drive, which is a popular destination for joggers, bikers and in-line skaters, with a mix of flat and slightly hilly terrain. You can shorten your run, of course, by cutting across the park at one of several thru streets (72nd Street is particularly lovely with its view of the iconic Bethesda Fountain).
Another option is the 1.58-mile track surrounding the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The soft dirt path overlooks not only the serene reservoir but also Midtown’s grand skyline. And if that weren’t enough, a jogging path map is provided in each room of the New York luxury hotel.
