Though already a world-class Five-Star hotel, Trump International Hotel & Tower New York took it to another level when it renovated its rooms in 2010 under the guidance of Ivanka Trump, The Donald’s daughter. After the $30 million renovation, rooms now feature a new, rich color palette of gray, purple and silver, which creates a modern and comfortably chic atmosphere. You’ll also see a sparkly Schonbek crystal chandelier in each of the suites, which adds a regal touch to the room. The design renovation also brought with it new technologies: Rooms come with an iLive, a gadget that allows you to play your iPod through the surround sound audio system, a Blu-ray player and a 55-inch flat-screen TV. What more could you possibly want when you’re surrounded by regal design and high-end technology at a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel?
