Making like a New Yorker and riding the subway is a breeze; just remember that Grand Central Station is the closest station to Trump International Hotel & Tower New York, and you’ll be able to figure it out from there. This historic train station sits in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, about two miles from the luxury hotel. Stepping out of the doors of the terminal, you’re immediately engulfed in the essence of New York. But, don’t let the name fool you. Grand Central Station doesn’t service Amtrak and other long-distance trains, just the subway and the Metro-North Railroad.
If you’re coming into town on an Amtrak train, you’ll arrive at Penn Station in Midtown, next to Madison Square Garden. Penn Station acts as a hub for inbound and outbound intercity railroad traffic, just under a mile and a half straight up Eighth Avenue to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel.
