Asiate, the primary restaurant in Mandarin Oriental, New York, provides room service for hotel guests upon special request. It will do its best to fulfill takeout requests if you just walk into the restaurant, though the option isn’t advertised at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant. If you’re looking for something less formal than Asiate, head to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s Lobby Lounge for a delicious and quick alternative. Chicken curry, dim sum bento boxes and other nibbles are available at the casual lounge. Even better, you won’t have to give up the floor-to-ceiling views of Central Park and Columbus Circle found in the dining room. The Lobby Lounge will put you right in front of the gorgeous vista.
