The interior design of Asiate is as sleek and sophisticated as its home, Mandarin Oriental, New York. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant takes advantage of its prime 35th-floor location in the Time Warner Center, offering floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Central Park, Columbus Circle and Midtown Manhattan. Tony Chi, one of the world’s foremost designers, conceptualized the contemporary Asian-influenced restaurant in neutral whites and creams. At the entrance of the airy space, there’s an exposed wall of wine that you will pass on your way to a freestanding table or a more private high-backed upholstered booth. A metal-and-glass sculpture of branches is rooted in the ceiling; the branches are supposed to resemble the barren trees in Central Park during the winter. Though you don’t have to conjure up the park — just look outside the New York restaurant's windows for those arresting views of Central Park and beyond.

A large, glittering sculpture with a “tree branch” hangs from the ceiling of the restaurant, emulating the trees of Central Park in winter. Asiate offers seasonal menus that mirror the changing of the seasons viewed in the Park.
A wall of wine greets diners at the entrance of Asiate with an award-winning wine list featuring an impressive selection of vintages from around the globe displayed in floor-to-ceiling glass cabinets.
