Located in New York’s ritzy Upper East Side neighborhood, Café Boulud New York is more of the collared-shirt-and-slacks destination than T-shirt-and-jeans kind of place. The French restaurant, which is just off of the entrance to The Surrey Hotel, lures foodies, businessmen and women and Upper East Siders. While breakfast and lunch are certainly a bit more dressed down than dinner, keep in mind that the dress code is business casual. Men don’t have to wear a jacket and tie, but you won’t be out of place if you do. As for the ladies, a dress or skirt and blouse seem to be the go-to outfits for diners at the New York restaurant.
