At Per Se, the salon pretty much serves as the “bar” since it’s where you can order cocktails and food from an à la carte menu, and you don’t need a reservation to dine there. The menu includes seasonal and signature items; on a recent visit we had the foie gras torchon and a Peking duck that we’re still tasting. Dishes range in price from $12 to $46 in the salon, and include items offered as part of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant's main dining room tasting menu. You also can expect canapés and mignardises in the salon.
