Monday through Saturday, Orchids is open for breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Morning plates such as banana-macadamia-nut pancakes and an island-style breakfast with kimchi fried rice and Portuguese sausage give way to seafood specials at lunch, such as Kahuku shrimp ravioli and onaga (snapper) prepared Chinese-style with green onions, ginger, soy sauce and sesame oil. The dinner menu, offered every night from 6 to 10 p.m., is similar to lunch, with contemporary Pacific Rim dishes showcasing Hawaii’s seafood. The Oahu restaurant’s Sunday brunch is offered from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and it’s easily the most talked-about brunch buffet on the island.
