Celebrity chef Todd English is best known for his take on rustic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. His dim and sexy, Jeffrey Beers-designed restaurant at the Bellagio overlooks the famed fountains, and features outdoor patio seating for those wanting an even closer look. Like the original Olives in Boston, the menu focuses on the best of his Italian cooking, including brick-oven flatbreads and pastas made in-house. The chicken pomodorini with spaghetti, roasted garlic, sautéed cherry tomatoes and feta is particularly tasty and light. This is one of those restaurants that is not only consistent every time you have a meal at the same outpost, but state to state as well. The waitstaff is upbeat and knowledgeable (not a surprise, since most have been with English’s organization for years), so they feel like family, and strive to help you feel the same way.
