As families check into their Pelican Hill “home away from home” this summer, they will find a variety of activities, entertainment and dining options. Whether staying in the Bungalows or the Villas, guests receive complimentary access to pools, fitness centers and spa facilities (for ages 16 and up). Our guest experience concierge recommends exploring ocean sports this summer in the Resort’s backyard, which affords easy access to five quintessential California beaches. Newport Beach, in particular, is known for surfing, kayaking, sailing and paddleboarding on the water, as well as hiking and biking along the coast. Daily guided beach hikes and Resort bike rentals are available to our guests through The Spa at Pelican Hill. Additionally, our complimentary Resort coaches transport guests to and from Crystal Cove Beach and Fashion Island shopping center every day.
Latitude for teens and Camp Pelican children’s retreat offer daily programs exclusively for our younger Resort guests. For ages 13-16, Latitude presents weekly activities, including mobile scavenger hunts, photography hikes, beach sports, spa soirees, yoga, movie nights, cabana evenings and more. At Camp Pelican, children ages 4-12 enjoy theme days, movie nights, weekly yoga story-telling activities and special guests like the Lizard Wizard with his reptile zoo.
A favorite dining option among kids and their parents alike, Coliseum Pool & Grill offers endless pizza, pasta and gelato for just $14 per child. The whole family will enjoy the scenic ocean-view setting, casual ambiance and seasonally inspired cuisine, with wholesome dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients.
