You’ll find there’s no shortage of thoughtful amenities when you’re luxuriating by the glistening pool at Villas of Grand Cypress. The pool is surrounded by lush landscaping and tropical flowers. Why not lie down under the shade of the palm trees, drift away and relax? With plenty of lounge chairs surrounding the pool, you’ll have room to relax and play, even if you’re with a group. When you check into the villas, you’ll get cards to exchange for beach towels. (Not to worry: You’ll get enough cards for each person staying with you). When you’re lounging by the pool, staff members will come with ice water with lemon, especially on those incredibly hot days. They’re attentive, so they’ll be sure to come around and refill your glass so you can stay hydrated enough to withstand the heat. You’ll find two Jacuzzis by the pool; one has a waterfall running into it, creating a sound that made us even more relaxed. By the pool at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, you can find boogie boards, noodles and other toys to float on in the pool. A snack stand at the entrance serves sandwiches, frozen cocktails, soft drinks, beer, chips, cookies and more. And you can purchase sun block there as well, if you forgot to bring your own. Tables and chairs provide a spot to enjoy cocktails and Wi-Fi is available by the pool as well. The pool is also the place to pick up a bike for the day, so you can pedal over the trails that surround the property. This Grand Cypress pool is relaxing; a great place to read a book or just lounge. If you’re looking for a livelier poolside scene, you can always take the hotel’s complimentary shuttle to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and frolic in their pool’s grotto or under a waterfall.
