“Contemporary Pacific” is how the cuisine is described at this cutting-edge restaurant at the south end of town, within the small beachfront shopping center called 550 Front. Pacific'O and its sister restaurant, I’O, are the only Hawaiian properties that have their own farming operation to support their kitchens. With dining rooms upstairs and on the ground floor, wonderful sunset views are available of the ocean and the island. Entrées like lemongrass-coconut fish and sesame-crusted lamb are accompanied by live jazz performances on weekend nights. Asian dishes like tempura and prawn and basil wontons are also popular here.
