The Palms has also revived the classic Playboy Club, which includes a lounge and gaming venues and Playboy Bunnies wearing both vintage and updated Roberto Cavalli-designed attire. It’s the closest thing you can get to a Sunset Strip hotel in Las Vegas, and it hits home with the 30-something hipster crowd. The three-acre pool complex features an air-conditioned gaming area and a catwalk for swimsuit shows. The new Palms Place tower has 599 condominium suites (many of which are available to rent as hotel rooms) and is attached to the Palms by the SkyTube, an elevated, enclosed moving walkway (to avoid that oppressive desert heat).
