Edge Steakhouse

A Park City eatery for chops and chic décor
VERIFIED LUXURY
For fine dining at 6,800 feet in gorgeous Park City, Utah, make a reservation at Edge Steakhouse, situated on the lower level of the Westgate Park City Resort & Spa. The mountainside steakhouse has a separate exterior entrance, highlighting the fact that this spot is a neighborhood destination and not just another hotel restaurant.

Outside, the Canyons resort’s ski lifts, gondolas and the great outdoors beckon, but inside this elegant eatery, the décor is chic and glamorous, befitting of a Las Vegas restaurant. Chandeliers, velvet banquettes and floor-to-ceiling curtains give Edge an intimate and formal feel, while the glass fireplace with stone surround and warm wood floors nod to the restaurant’s mountainside location.

Edge offers traditional steakhouse food with a modern twist — think prime aged steaks alongside wasabi encrusted ahi tuna. Steaks are served a la carte, so you’ll want to order at least one of the indulgent sides, such as the lobster and black truffle risotto.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Portions here are generous, and the sides come with more than enough for two to share. And do save some room for one of the mini desserts.
  • The backlit onyx bar, glass-walled wine room and chic chandeliers call for a more glamorous, put-together look.
  • Edge is also known to have one of Park City’s largest wine selections with upwards of 1,100 bottles from around the world.
Things to Know
  • The dress code at Edge Steakhouse is business casual. It’s not an ultra-formal establishment, but Edge is more glamorous than you might expect a mountainside restaurant to be.
  • Edge has a full bar serving specialty drinks and a selection of domestic, international and local beers (try a Tilted Smile or Hop Rising).
  • The restaurant is an ideal spot for a romantic dinner out, an important business meeting or a celebratory meal after a long day on the slopes.
The Food
  • Led by award-winning chef Ivan Ruiz, the team at Edge Steakhouse has developed a menu that balances traditional steakhouse flavor with more innovate dishes, like strawberry gazpacho or black and white truffle mac and cheese.

  • Fresh seafood is flown in daily, a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to high-quality ingredients. Locally caught Utah trout is prepared to crispy perfection, served with root vegetables and an herb gnocchi.

  • A unique steakhouse offering, zabuton wagyu beef is sourced from Snake River Farms, where wagyu cattle are bred with American black angus to produce a quality cut of meat.
The Design
  • In keeping with typical Park City style, a large stone fireplace glows in the center of the restaurant while guests dine over dark hardwoods, adding an element of warmth and intimacy.

  • More modern touches include large gold booths and funky chandeliers that separate the restaurant from other more traditional steakhouses.

  • The bar creates a lively atmosphere with colorful lights that set an energetic tone and plush bar stools that invite you to relax and enjoy a drink.
