When The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City was renovated in 2010, several new treatments were added to the menu: the Great Salt Stone Therapy, the Pigment Balancing Facial and a line of Signature Soaks. The Great Salt Stone Therapy, named for the nearby Great Salt Lake, warms hand-carved, polished salt stones and uses them to release negative ions, purifying the air and increasing your well-being. To hydrate, exfoliate and even out your skin, the Pigment Balancing Facial uses microderm crystals and glycolic for noticeable results, though if you have sensitive skin, you're better off opting for something a little gentler. A 25-minute Signature Soak makes a great warm-up to one of the other treatments on the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa’s menu, with Dead Sea mineral salts, natural herbs and your choice of aromatherapy bath teas.
