Kids will enjoy playing on the huge lawn of this older-style, family-friendly motel, located on 6 1/2 acres of private frontage along the Ottauquechee River, 1.8 miles west of historic Woodstock Green. In front are a gazebo and big shade trees; in the back are a pond (home to a resident group of entertaining ducks) and the Ottauquechee, both great places for splashers and waders. Benches and picnic tables have been set up along the river. Single rooms are somewhat small, but doubles are quite spacious. All rooms, however, have lovely views of the river.
