Davenport's hip grande dame

119 Rooms / 11 Suites

Hotel Blackhawk has remained a sophisticated destination for travelers visiting the Quad Cities since it opened in 1915, an attribute that has landed the hotel a spot on the Historic Hotels of America list. In 2009, Hotel Blackhawk underwent a $46 million restoration to maintain its historical value while incorporating a modern, cool vibe with state-of-the-art amenities. You could call the makeover “hipstoric.”

The airy white lobby boasts a playful palette of blue and yellow, as well as a picturesque stained-glass ceiling. The Gold Room, Hotel Blackhawk’s signature ballroom, continues to host memorable meetings, charitable vents and storybook weddings.

The signature guest rooms are outfitted in cream, black and deep purple for a luxurious feel, and they offer a myriad of amenities, including rooms with Jacuzzis and terraces. There are also two-bedroom suites with full kitchens and a washer and dryer.

The full-service Spa and Barber Shop at Hotel Blackhawk provides a variety of spa, salon and barber services. On the third floor, you will find a sun deck and a heated indoor pool with excellent views of the mighty Mississippi River.  For some bowling and late-night fun, the Blackhawk Bowl & Martini Lounge, located on the bottom floor, is the place to be. But lane lovers aren't the only ones treated like VIPs here. Golfers can arrange exclusive tee times at the private TPC Deere Run course.

Dine at Bix Bistro, known as “Davenport’s dining room,” and find out why it is a multi-year recipient of The Wine Spectator Award. For a quick bite and coffee, visit Beignet Done That, a cozy café that is the perfect place to start the day.
