The Fearrington House Restaurant is located eight miles south of Chapel Hill in Pittsboro, North Carolina, and is part of a large planned community called the Fearrington Village. The land was once a dairy farm and you can still see Belted Galloway cows and Tennessee fainting goats as you enter the village, which is anchored by the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Fearrington House Inn, restaurant and surrounding shops. It’s a 30-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport but it maintains a remote country estate feel. From the airport, you’ll want to either rent a car or call the inn’s front desk to arrange a car service (which will run about $65).
If you’re driving from Chapel Hill, just head down US 15-501 South eight miles until you see Fearrington Village. If you’re coming from the airport, Durham or Raleigh, we suggest you call the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant for the best directions.
