This resort town in the Sierra Blanca Mountains, surrounded by the trees of the Lincoln National Forests, has enjoyed spectacular growth. It is a thriving town and an all-year resort with skiing in winter and fishing and horseback riding in summer. If planning to visit during June, July, or August, secure confirmed reservations before leaving home. Few mountain resorts have such a variety of attractions. The forested mountain slopes and streams are idyllic, the air is clear and cool, especially at night, and there are many interesting ways to spend time.
