There is no official dress code at Meritage at the Claremont, but the style is business casual. Shorts and flip-flops would definitely stick out in the elegant, low-lit dining room of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaraunt. It’s still Northern California, though, so there’s no need to get too gussied up. You can get away with a nice pair of jeans and a button down. However, if you’re celebrating something special, you wouldn’t feel out of place in a dress, either. Jackets aren’t necessary but if you’re attending one of their holiday brunches, you may want to throw one on or wear a collared shirt to fit in.
