Chef/owner Raymond Ost has created a little oasis of his native Alsace in the heart of Harvard Square. The bar around the restaurant’s hearth oven is a favorite gathering spot to snack on Ost’s signature flammekueche—a flatbread topped with fromage blanc, smoked bacon, and caramelized onions. The dinner menu features such hearty dishes as a classic choucroute of homemade sauerkraut studded with sausages, grilled smoked pork, and bacon.
