The décor in the bathrooms at Bacara Resort & Spa matches the rest of the guest room, offering you a calming Mediterranean feeling space to bathe and groom. In a standard guest room, you’ll find a sliding dark wood louvered door just off the hallway that opens up onto the bathroom. The Spanish tile flooring unifies the bedroom and bath and you can even open the connecting door to create a single, cohesive space. The bathrooms have neutral color palettes with cream-colored stucco walls, dark wood and beige marble. Each bathroom features a deep soaking tub and a range of deliciously scented Fresh bath products for your enjoyment, so definitely consider a long delicious bubble bath during your stay. The marble vanity with a single sink offers plenty of space, and you can tuck your toiletries into the white wood drawers below. The mirrored wall is convenient for your daily grooming tasks, and the magnifying mirror should help you apply your makeup perfectly. A glass door conceals the walk-in marble shower, complete with small bench for sitting, and a wood louvered door next to it opens onto the water closet. We did have two tiny issues with the bathroom, though. One was that on our most recent visit, it hadn’t been expertly cleaned prior to our arrival, and some of the floor tiles were slightly cracked. It’s also worth noting that while we find the shutter doors attractive, they aren’t very soundproof. Just a heads up before settling into the bathroom at Bacara Resort & Spa.
