Yamazato does not have an existing special menu for allergies, so those with dietary restrictions need to be extra careful and make sure that the kitchen is well informed as per what you can and cannot eat. If you, for instance, have a peanut or nut allergy, you’ll need to confirm with Yamazato what types of oil they use and whether or not they chop nuts on the same cutting board that they chop other food. Your best bet is to call the recommended restaurant ahead of time so the kitchen can make sure it’s capable of ensuring your health and safety. Food allergies in China are not as well understood, so you need to be very clear on exactly what will happen should your allergies be triggered.
