Anantara Spa at The PuLi Hotel and Spa doesn’t offer meals pre- or post-treatment, but the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa does serve soothing Chinese tea. After your treatment, you’ll receive tea accompanied by two shortbread cookies.
If you need a larger meal post-massage, head to the hotel’s Jing’An restaurant, which serves a fantastic Sunday brunch. The brunch offers up a fresh seafood buffet, charcuterie and freshly baked bread and pastries, plus à la carte Western and Chinese dishes. There’s also the option to indulge in the free-flowing Moët & Chandon champagne, a Shanghai institution. On other days, the restaurant’s menu of contemporary cuisine from chef Dane Clouston will be more than satisfactory.
