Bathrooms are just as lavish as the guest rooms at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. The spacious Valley Wing rooms have a separate water closet, along with a separate glass-door shower and a deep-soaking tub with a container of bath salts and a bath pillow at the ready. (Hop in the tub, turn on the mood lighting and prep yourself for an extended soak and a little entertainment — there’s an LCD TV set into the tiled wall.) Bathrooms at the luxury Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel have beige and cream marble floors, tiled walls and white marble countertops with two sinks and large mirrors. There are not one, but two telephones — one by the bath and one in the water closet. Complimentary bottles of water, L’Occitane bath products and goods like toothbrushes, combs and loofahs round out the amenities.
