There are a few bars at Twin Farms, though you don’t necessarily have to be inside the bar to enjoy a drink at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel (guests can often be found sipping champagne on top of Ski Hill or around the pond). Situated in its own building above the hotel’s The Bridge House Spa and just a short stroll from the main house, past the croquet lawn and over the lily pond, you’ll find The Pub. The name speaks for itself and is the most likely spot to sit and relax with a glass of wine or an après-ski cocktail. Soft drinks and bar snacks are set out for self-service, and staff is on hand to serve any liquor, since Vermont law prohibits the self-service of alcohol. There is a stone terrace outside The Pub with Adirondack chairs circling a fire pit, where you can roast marshmallows after dinner. If the weather is chilly, stay inside and enjoy the pool table or classic board games, or select something to watch from the hundreds of DVD titles on hand. Another bar can be found in the luxury Vermont hotel's main house, where you will be invited to have pre-dinner cocktails in The Barn Room. The Wine Cellar is located below The Barn Room, so don’t forget to pop down and marvel at the amazing labels before dinner. Though high-quality wines are included, the hotel does have a reserve list, too, if you’re looking for something extra special or unique.
