The room service menu at The Lodge and Cottages at Primland is so interesting, you’ll surely want to try everything. You’ll find a breakfast menu with lighter options such as a pastry baskets, housemade breakfast pastries, yogurt parfaits and fruit plates as well as your favorite egg dishes such as steak and eggs. A Lodge Benedict with toasted brioche, grilled asparagus and poached eggs is delicous, as are the breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats like buttermilk fried doughnut holes with chocolate, caramel and fruit sauce; pancakes with maple syrup; and croissant bread pudding French toast, among other things.
For lunch and dinner, you’ll find snacks like pig candy; marinated olives and prosiutto with melon; fried pickles; hushpuppies; and truffle honey chicken wings to get started. There are soups, salads and various sandwiches such as Kobe beef burgers, chicken salad on a croissant, slow-roasted pork sandwiches and BLTs with eggs, plus entrees like pasta, fish and chips, slow-roasted salmon, shrimp and grits, and a grass-fed grilled flat iron steak. Desserts include seasonal homestead ice creams, croissant bread pudding, warm cookies and an old-fashioned ice cream float. There’s also a late night menu served from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. with some of the same tasty options but just a more limited menu. And if you like what you ordered during room service, be sure to pay a visit to Elements restaurant and the 19th Pub to enjoy more of what the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel’s dining venues have to offer.
