Spa du Sureau’s Art Deco interior provides a luxe take on common spa décor. Taking its inspiration from turn-of-the-century Parisian chic, the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa’s design is heavy on rich fabrics, stained glass details and true-to-period furniture. The walls are hung with oil paintings in gilded frames depicting women in various states of undress, which encourage even the most modest visitor to dispense with extraneous clothing. The gauzy white curtains give patrons privacy without robbing the space of the spa’s stunning natural light.
In Spa du Sureau’s waiting room, the walls and ceiling are finished in harmonious shades of buff and celadon. Once again, Art Deco details dominate the room with sharp geometric shapes making appearances from the pendant lamp that hangs from the ceiling to the rhombus-shaped mirror in the entryway.
