New owners took over the Innisbrook resort in the early 2000s, and starting in 2007, they began a comprehensive $26 million renovation that was completed in 2009. The renovations at the Florida resort included new soft goods like window drapes, carpets, high-end Heavenly beds and luxurious linens in the guest suites. The suites with kitchens received updated kitchen appliances like microwaves, dishwashers, coffeemakers and the like. In addition to the in-room renovations, the Florida resort also made improvements to its five regulation golf courses, meeting room space and six swimming pools and debuted Indaba Spa, a full-service spa that offers innovative African-inspired treatments.
